For the past two years, Colorado Springs Philharmonic concerts have been sell-out, blockbuster performances that thousands have enjoyed. Plans for the 2013-14 Season are even better yet. Along with a very special music of Queen concert, classical listeners will enjoy Strauss’ 100-plus musician Alpine Symphony, great soloists, and can go to the next level with the Boeing Vanguard Performances. Pops patrons will be treated to superheroes, rock classics, a live film screening, and more.

Alpine SymphonyEl Pomar Foundation Masterworks

7 concerts
Filled with works created by the biggest names in music composition, Masterworks brings the best soloists and music to audiences. Sponsored by El Pomar Foundation, the series includes the following performances.

Pirates of the CaribbeanPhilharmonic Pops

6 concerts
Pops concerts vary the mix with programs made for every taste, including works from Broadway to Tinsel Town, and everything in between. The series includes the following performances.

Debussy: La MerBoeing Vanguard Performances

3 concerts
Each Vanguard concert reaches deeply into a composition, using multimedia, acting, film, and photography to reveal the soul of a work and its composer—and that’s only the first half. After intermission, the concert features each work in its full, unabridged glory. Sponsored by Boeing, the series includes the following performances.

Christmas SymphonyHoliday and Special Events

The following concerts are available individually at a discount to subscribers, who also receive priority seating.


Unless noted, Colorado Springs Philharmonic concerts are performed at 8:00 pm on Saturdays and 2:30 pm on Sundays at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts. Programs, artists, dates, and venues subject to change without notice.
