2010 NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS

City-wide Nutcracker auditions for the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra and Ballet Idaho’s production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker will be held on Sunday, August 29, from 1 to 7 pm at Cossitt Hall on the Colorado College campus.
This is the only fully-staged Nutcracker production to be performed on the stage of the Pikes Peak Center with full live orchestra and professional ballet company. This audition is open to all dancers, male and female, and all skill levels from ages 6-21. Four performances will be held on Thanksgiving weekend: Friday, Nov. 26, Saturday, Nov. 27 (2 performances), and Sunday, Nov. 28.
Pre-registration for Nutcracker auditions is required. REGISTRATION FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE COLORADO SPRINGS PHILHARMONIC OFFICE NO LATER 5PM ON AUGUST 23, 2010 IN ORDER TO AUDITION. REGISTRATION FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR.

Dancers may be moved between height categories at the discretion of the dance mistress.
*Some boys may be asked to stay or return for later auditions.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your audition time to facilitate proceedings.
