Iron Horse Park, Fort Carson

DIRECTIONS

Visitors who do not have a military registration decal on their vehicles are asked to use gates 1, 4 and 20 beginning at 4 p.m. July 3. Gate 1, Fort Carson’s main gate, is located just off of State Highway 115. Gate 4, also referred to as the B Street gate, is accessible from South Academy Boulevard.  Gate 20 is the closest access gate to the city of Fountain and is accessible from nearby Highway 85/87 and Interstate Highway 25.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

The event is open to the public.  For security reasons, each person entering Fort Carson must show a valid Drivers License or other federal- or state-issued photo ID.  Each vehicle must have proof of insurance and valid registration.  All vehicles are subject to search. In an effort to minimize traffic, visitors are highly encouraged to car pool.

RESTRICTIONS

No alcohol, firearms, fireworks, or glass bottles. No pets except service animals.

AMENITIES

Activities will include face painting, inflatable jumpers, paintball, and volleyball courts.  Food and drink vendors will be on site.  Picnic blankets, chairs, and sunscreen are encouraged.
