Iron Horse Park, Fort Carson
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Patriotic pride and thunderous excitement packed into one fun evening under the stars. The Colorado Springs Philharmonic and associate conductor Thomas Wilson have gone all out to prepare the best Independence Day concert ever offered by the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. Patriotic favorites, swing tunes, and the traditional finale: Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture (accompanied by howitzers of the 4th Infantry Division, not to mention the fireworks) will make it a night to remember. And of course, it’s free! Don't miss it!
Activities will include face painting, inflatable jumpers, paintball, and volleyball courts. Food and drink vendors will be on site. Picnic blankets, chairs, and sunscreen are encouraged.
Entertainment begins at 4pm. The Philharmonic takes the stage at 8pm.
