Placing season ticket orders is an intricate procedure designed to honor those who have been generous and loyal patrons, while being fair to everyone involved. Due to immense demand, Philharmonic representatives respond to thousands of seating requests, doing their utmost to make every subscriber comfortable.
Subscription seating placement will be processed in the following order:
- Straight renewals—subscribers requesting the same seats and the same concert night.
- Seating change requests from contributing subscribers.
- Seating change requests from non-contributing subscribers.
- New subscribers who have made contributions.
- New subscribers who choose not to make a contribution.
Please note that receipt of payment does not guarantee seating placement.
Patrons unable to attend a concert may return concert tickets as a tax-deductible donation. Value of the donation is equal to the paid value printed on the ticket. The tickets must be physically returned to the Pikes Peak Center box office (at 190 South Cascade Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs) no later than 3 hours prior to their respective concert to receive the tax-deductible donation. Patrons may also contact the Philharmonic administrative offices at 719-575-9632 to donate their tickets.
Tickets from past concerts may not be donated back.
To help when scheduling conflicts arise, subscribers may exchange their Philharmonic tickets for other Philharmonic concerts free of charge, subject to sufficient ticket availability. Some concerts are not available for exchange and exchanges are subject to sufficient ticket availability. Tickets from past concerts may not be exchanged.
Please use one of the following methods to exchange your tickets:
- Call 719-575-9632.
- Bring your tickets to the Pikes Peak Center box office (at 190 South Cascade Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs) during normal business hours.
- Mail your tickets (at least one week prior to the concert you are exchanging from), with handling instructions, to: Colorado Springs Philharmonic, PO Box 1266, Colorado Springs, CO 80901-1266.
Every attempt will be made to exchange your tickets for best available comparable seats for the alternative concert of your choice. If you wish to upgrade your seat, you will be charged for the difference in price at the time the exchange is made. We regret that we are unable to refund the difference if you exchange into lower priced seats. Some concerts are not eligible for exchange and all exchanges are subject to sufficient ticket availability. You may call 719-575-9632 in advance to see if exchange tickets are currently available for the concert of your choice.
Most single ticket purchases ship within two business days via US Postal Service. Subscription orders will be processed according to the subscriber seating terms detailed on this page and will ship via US Postal Service prior to the beginning of the Philharmonic season. This usually occurs in mid-August.
Refunds are issued only for cancelled performances. Rescheduled performances will not be refunded.
Limited Satisfaction Guarantee
New subscribers may attend the first performance in their subscription series risk-free. If, after their first concert, new subscribers find that they do not enjoy the concert experience, they may cancel their subscription and all remaining tickets will be refunded. Subscribers requesting refunds must actually attend the first concert in their subscription package and have their ticket barcode(s) scanned by Pikes Peak Center ushers. Refund requests must be received by the Philharmonic no later than five business days following the first concert in the applicable series.
